Genesis Connected Services rely on digital wireless telecommunications technology outside of Genesis's control. Genesis Connected Services are dependent on 4G LTE cellular networks controlled and maintained by third-party wireless carriers. If and when these networks change and/or discontinue service, or the underlying technology required to support Genesis Connected Services becomes obsolete, then the connected services will not work and Genesis will be forced to cancel impacted subscription services.

Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview uses the vehicle's front camera to help read road surface ahead-and then help control the vehicle's Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) to optimize ride comfort and minimize impact. ECS with Road Preview will not function accurately at night or when visibility is low and may not function correctly if one or more of the cameras is damaged, dirty or covered or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow or fog) are interfering with the sensor operation. ECS with Road Preview is not a substitute for safe driving. Always drive carefully. See Owner's Manual for details and limitations.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is designed to assist drivers to avoid, or reduce the severity of, collisions with cars that have slowed or stopped in front of them. The system is not designed to detect certain stationary objects such as trees or poles, and may not detect all vehicles and pedestrians under certain road, weather and vehicle conditions. It is a supplemental assist and does not replace the need for extreme care and attention by the driver. FCA may not stop the vehicle completely and will not avoid all collisions. The driver is responsible for being attentive and maintaining control of the vehicle, and should not wait for the system's alerts before braking as there may not be sufficient time to brake safely. Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) can help park the vehicle. However, several factors can impact RSPA performance. RSPA may not function correctly if one or more of the parking sensors is damaged, dirty or covered or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow or fog) are interfering with the sensor operation. Always inspect the parking area with your own eyes. See Owner's Manual for details and limitations.

Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) assists the driver in changing lanes by providing a live view of the blind spots on either side of the vehicle and an audible alert if another vehicle is detected. Turn signal must be activated, and other system limitations apply. Do not rely exclusively on BVM. It is the driver's responsibility to be aware of the surroundings and ensure it is clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner's Manual for details and limitations.

To qualify for 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK, a vehicle must earn good ratings in the small overlap front, original moderate overlap front and updated side tests.
